Safety: We Live By It

OUR ETHOS

Our goal has always been to provide a premium service to our clients and to be proud of the product that we deliver on every project.

Over the years, and with support from our clients and staff, our business has grown and evolved into what is now a modern, proactive company with the ambition to keep improving our customers’ experience and the product that we deliver.

Health & Safety

The safety and wellbeing of our workforce is of primary importance.

All our work is planned with Health and Safety as a priority. We invest in training to ensure skills are maintained to exacting standards. Everyone, from senior management to skilled labour, are trained in all aspects of Health and Safety relevant to their role.

We use the latest equipment to load out our materials, in order to reduce the risk of fatigue and injuries to our workforce, and the latest noise suppression to reduce noise exposure to our workforce, other site operatives and the general public.

We have a ‘no dust’ policy for the majority of our fixing operations and use dust extraction and dust protection where we cannot find a dust free alternative. We are working towards all our sites being cable free to reduce the risk of trips.

Sustainability

We adopt a proactive approach to protecting and enhancing the local and global environment, and continuously improve the management of sustainability issues. We are committed to complying with all applicable environmental legislation and all other standards to achieve a sustainable performance.

Quality

Part of our quality programme is to constantly monitor quality performance on site. Site performance is led by our Quality Manager.

We are committed to all areas of quality and are members of several industry recognised schemes.

“I have worked together with KPMG SYSTEMS LTD for the last 13 years. I have found KPMG to be very proactive, helpful, hardworking, open and honest, problem-solving, high-quality workmanship and collaborative planning. KPMG is a company I want to continue to work with for the future.

The health and safety record is exemplary which is supported by regular visits to site by KPMG’s own health and safety inspector.”

Jon Allworth – Construction Manager - Willmott Dixon London & East

“I have had the opportunity to work with KPMG over a number of years. The latest project being YMCA consisting of 199 apartments over 8 floors and Enigma Square consisting of 261 residential apartments over 2 buildings and 8 floors.

KPMG completed on schedule while maintaining good working relationships with B & K and our subcontractors. Coordination was handled very professionally and all health and safety and paperwork aspects responded to promptly. KPMG has provided exceptional staff that stay involved and accessible throughout a project.

We welcome the opportunity to work with KPMG Systems Ltd on any future projects.”

Wayne Catterall – Senior Project Manager - Bowmer & Kirkland Southern Region

“The level of commitment, drive and determination displayed by KPMG is exemplary. They ensured the project was resourced adequately to achieve the site programme, which was extremely tight on Wren Academy. They have great knowledge and are always on call and will endeavour to accommodate site requests such as actioning urgent items which invariably crop up in a timely manner. I look forward to working with the KPMG team on future projects.”

Dean Short – Contract Manager - Bowmer & Kirkland

“KPMG are an excellent sub-contractor. They are extremely pro-active and supportive at pre-con / design stages. Project delivery, the quality of overall supervision, adhering to programmes and looking for opportunities to improve upon on programmes is an area where they excel. The Q.A and Health and Safety is an aspect where there are no issues, and they fully understand the requirements from day one. I have no hesitation in recommending KPMG.”

Paul Smith – Associate Director – Bowmer & Kirkland Southern region

“On George West House at Clapham, KPMG Systems Limited have taken on an extremely difficult project in terms of logistics and managed the installation of the drylining, fire protection and plastering package with great success, whilst ensuring good quality is achieved. Their project manager has engaged with Buxton’s site management at every step along the way to ensure this project has been able to be successfully delivered – Bob Ward, Contract Manager”
